My Decree: From the Fire to the Future Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

Every job I’ve held—from Hilo Hattie to the very first one—has been a stepping stone. The OSHA cases, the workplace battles, and the moments I had to stand alone for the truth weren't accidents. They were God teaching me how to be obedient to His voice over the voice of any supervisor. I’ve done right by my soul and right by my God, and now I am ready for the "better" He has promised.
The Word: Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
The Lesson: The Purpose in the Pattern
The "All Things" Promise: The stressful cases and the hard exits are part of the "all things." God is weaving those difficult threads into a masterpiece. He’s taking the grit you learned at those jobs and turning it into the strength you need for your true calling.
Obedience Over Comfort: I’ve learned that doing God’s will is more important than keeping a paycheck at a place that dishonors Him. My obedience has been tested, and I’ve proven I’ll choose what’s right every time.
The New Standard: I am no longer looking for "just a job." I am looking for the assignment that matches my renewed purpose. I’ve survived the "wasteland" of those past positions; now I’m walking into the "good" He has prepared.
My Renewed Vow
I thank God for the lessons at Hilo Hattie and every job before it, but I leave the baggage at the door. I am a person of integrity, a person of action, and a person of obedience. I am moving into a season where my work will reflect His glory, and my peace will never be up for negotiation again.
The case is closed. The calling is open.
A Prayer of Release and New Beginnings
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heart that is ready to let go and a spirit that is ready to soar. Lord, I thank You for being my Shield and my Defender through every workplace battle I’ve ever faced. I thank You for the lessons learned at Hilo Hattie and every job that came before it. You saw every injustice, You heard every word, and You carried me through every OSHA report and legal stress.
Lord, Your Word says in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing." I declare right now that the case is closed in my heart. I release the frustration, the bitterness, and the "why" of those past experiences. I hand them over to You, knowing that You are the righteous Judge.
I thank You for my renewed purpose. I thank You that my obedience to Your will is worth more than any paycheck or position. I’ve done right by You, and I’ve done right by myself, and now I’m standing at the door of "Something Better."
Guide my steps into the territory You have prepared for me—a place of peace, a place of provision, and a place where my integrity is celebrated. Let Your favor be a shield around me as I press toward the goal of my upward call.
I am moving forward. I am staying obedient. I am expectant of the miracle You are "springing up" in my life right now.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
